Banana Recipe Banana Self Saucing Pudding Ingredients - Serves: 6-8 Cake • 3 cups self raising flour
• 2 teaspoons bicarb soda
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 6 bananas, mashed
• 1 cup coconut oil
• 4 eggs Sauce • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
• 2 teaspoons Cornflour *
• 3 cups boiling water
• 1 cup golden syrup Directions Preparation: 15min › Cook: 40min › Ready in: 55min • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
• Lightly grease large baking dish.
• In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar and bicarb soda.
• In a medium bowl, mix the bananas, oil and eggs.
• Add the banana mixture to the flour mix and stir until well combined.
• Spoon into prepared baking dish. Sauce: • Mix the brown sugar and the Cornflour * together.
• Sprinkle evenly over the top of the cake mix
• Mix the boiling water and the golden syrup together and carefully pour over top of the cake/sugar mix.
• Cook approx 40 minutes until nicely brown and a skewer comes out clean. Also Want a great healthy snack idea for kids parties. - Peel some bananas, dip half in chocolate, wrap in clingwrap and pop into the fridge.
